2017 Mercedes-Benz CLS Owner's Manual

Design solutions are in line with the concept of “hot and cool, emotion and intelligence”, which was first tested in the series on the third generation CLS. The car is distinguished by a forward-tilted grille and headlights that go into the “profile”, but at the same time its design does not seem aggressive. This is facilitated by the absence of sharp lines on the front bumper – the forms are dynamic, but smoothed. The “stern” of the car looks less heavy compared to the previous generation due to a significant reduction in headlights and their division into two sections.
The interior, on the other hand, is solutions familiar to us from other Mercedes-Benz models, brought together: a solid panel of two 12.3-inch screens and four deflectors under them have already been tested on the E- and S-classes. The shape of the deflectors in the form of turbines is a solution from the E-class coupes and convertibles. In addition, contour lighting appeared in the cabin (64 possible colors), and the already mentioned deflectors are illuminated differently depending on the selected airflow temperature. The rear sofa can be designed for two or three passengers, with the rear seats repeating the shape of the front ones.
