The 2018 GLE model will have five different packages and each of them will get its own transmission. The standard package is equipped with a 3.5-liter six-cylinder engine and a seven-speed automatic. It also has front-wheel drive, but a 4Matic is installed for a fee.

The interior of this model is stock with 2-zone climate control, and the steering wheel has a unique feature – this is the car’s power control.

The driver’s seat is equipped with an electric drive and lumbar adjustment with a position memory function. The safety system includes a front collision avoidance assistant and a rearview camera. Android Auto and Apple Car Play are now integrated into the multimedia center. There is a 10-inch touchscreen as standard, but there are still manual climate controls on the center console and the CD player remains.
