Mercedes-Benz A-Class (Mercedes-Benz A-Class) is a Class C hatchback with front or all-wheel drive (index W177). The presentation of the fourth generation of the model took place on February 2, 2018 in Amsterdam, and the world premiere took place at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2018.

Having changed the generation, the representative of the youngest class in the brand line received technologies from older brothers, and we have already seen some design solutions on large Mercedes models. If we talk about the latter, then the common design decisions with the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class model are obvious – similar headlights with daytime running lights boomerangs, smoothed but dynamic bumper lines. But heredity between generations in the external design can still be seen.

Not the case – in the cabin! There is absolutely nothing left of the previous model. Here begins the realm of hi-tech, previously inaccessible to cars of this class. From now on – only a virtual instrument panel, combined with the screen of the multimedia system into an integral structure (both screens in the maximum configuration boast a diagonal of 10.25 inches). The screen of the latter (by the way, a completely new one – MBUX – Mercedes-Benz User eXperience) became touch-sensitive for the first time, but for an extra charge you can also get a touchpad on the central tunnel. And you can control the system both with the help of touch buttons on the steering wheel, and with voice commands – just say the greeting “Hey, Mercedes”. But more importantly, the system can automatically adjust to the driver, analyzing routes, selected music, climate settings, lighting and other settings, playing them during the next trip.
