2022 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Owner's Manual

Interior does not have something special, but for a sports car it is cozy and comfortable enough. Torpedo is executed under the sports driving style, it has a touchscreen display and dashboard. All switches are installed on the central console. Using a smartphone, you can monitor the status of the car.

The restyled model got four doors and five seats. All-wheel drive and a hybrid setup are available in this production car. In addition, there is an air suspension with rear wheel steering and all-wheel drive adjustments. The car’s high level of tuning and intake quality confirm its record-breaking performance at the NĂĽrburgring circuit.
Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster (Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster) is a rear-wheel drive roadster of the H2 class. The world premiere of the updated version of the car took place at the Los Angeles Auto Show in the fall of 2018.

The outwardly rejuvenated GT Roadster can be identified only by two elements: front optics, with a new design in the form of a fallen “V” letter, and a double exhaust system that has taken the place of the old ovals. It is interesting that by this very exhaust, it is now easier to distinguish modifications: for the simplest – “double-barreled shotguns” have a round shape, while for more powerful ones they are slightly angular. Otherwise, no changes were found in the exterior. The car, as before, has a soft top with an electric drive, and protective arcs behind the seat backs. And due to more reinforced sills with additional amplifiers and struts, the roadster managed to maintain the “kupeshny” rigidity of the body.

But the interior, although at first glance it may seem the same, has actually undergone much more changes. Analog gauges are gone, now in their place is a fully virtual dashboard with beautiful and easy to read graphics, located behind the new steering wheel with touch-sensitive control buttons on the spokes. The screen of the multimedia system has become noticeably wider (10.25 inches) and is able to support Apple Car Play and Android Auto. True, the complex itself, still the old Comand, not MBUX, however, it is even more convenient to manage it thanks to the improved touchpad as on the latest models. The finishing touch is the buttons on the center console, which have changed from round to rectangular (hello from the fastback).

Despite its pronounced sportiness, the roadster is still a real Mercedes that is able to provide safety (adaptive cruise, lane keeping, emergency braking system, 360 cameras, blind spot monitoring, etc.) and functional comfort (seat memory combined heated and ventilated, keyless entry with engine start button, power mirrors, parking assistant, and Burmester audio system). And thanks to such an option as Airscarf (“air scarf”), you can operate an open-top car at any time of the year.

The designers of the car have not forgotten about the fans of track days, providing them with such a useful option as the AMG Track Pace (reads telemetry in real time, helping to improve lap times).

Technically everything is the same as before. The model has three modifications: the simplest GT – 476 hp, the average GT S – 522 hp. and the top GT C – 557 hp Moreover, everyone has the same heart – a 4-liter V8 (M178), working in tandem with a 7-speed AMG Speedshift DCT “robot”. Of the announced changes, only a slightly reconfigured suspension.
