But where there is always something to work on, it is on active and passive safety systems. The G-Class has previously made it possible to install almost all the developments of Mercedes-Benz as options, and now the lane keeping and blind spot monitoring systems are completely included in the basic package.

Under the hood of the all-wheel drive Mercedes-Benz G-Class, a 3-liter diesel V6 can be installed, producing 211 hp. With. power (modification G350 BlueTec) and 540 Nm at 1600-2400 rpm, or a 5.5-liter gasoline V8 with 388 “horses” and 530 Nm of torque in the range from 2800 to 4800 rpm (modification G500). Moreover, even with such characteristics, according to the manufacturer, fuel consumption will not be so great. In the first case, for a 100 km journey in a combined cycle, the car will “eat” a little more than 11 liters, and in the second – almost 15. In both cases, a 7-speed automatic transmission 7G-TronicPlus works in tandem with the engine.
