The urban premium crossover 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQA Class got a model update. At its $76,000 price point, it is rated 7 out of 10. For that price, the owner gets new features. For example, automatic door locking/unlocking, a quality 10-speaker audio system with a subwoofer, and more.

The interior of Mercedes-Benz EQA Class gets only two-zone climate, and only the front seats are heated. There are two interior colors to choose from: black or beige. The media system has support for Android Auto and Apple Car Play. At the moment, the multimedia touchscreen display is 10 inches and has many useful functions built in to control the car. A large, electrically operated sunroof is installed for an additional charge.

Large 20-inch wheels and reinforced suspension on McPherson struts? It allows you to feel confident on the road, and about the safety will think about the intelligent all-around view assistants, parking assistant and installed 10 airbags, which are standard.

Mercedes-Benz EQA (Mercedes-Benz EQA) is a front-wheel drive electric crossover of the K1 class. The first generation of the model. The premiere of the car took place on January 20, 2021.

The smallest electric crossover in the EQ line can be identified primarily by a large blank grille connected to the head optics DRL by an LED strip. A similar technique – lights combined with LEDs – was used behind. In addition, the EQA differs from the GLA with bumpers and rims redrawn to suit aerodynamic performance. The latter can be 18-, 19- and 20-inch (two- and three-color wheel designs are offered to choose from). The drag coefficient of the electric crossover itself is 0.28, EQA is the first Mercedes-Benz, the aerodynamic development of which was carried out exclusively digitally.

The basic version of the electric car is the EQA 250, which is equipped with an asynchronous electric motor on the front axle, producing 190 hp. With. and 375 Nm of torque. Such a crossover accelerates to 100 km / h in 8.9 s, and the maximum speed is limited at around 160 km / h.

The power reserve on a single charge – according to the WLTP cycle – is 426 km, and it is provided by a five-module lithium-ion battery (used capacity – 66.5 kWh), located under the passenger compartment. The electric car supports charging from a 100-kilowatt terminal, and from 10% to 80% of the battery charge from it can be replenished in half an hour.

The EQC is built on the same platform as the GLA, but the bottom configuration has been changed to integrate the battery. The battery is protected from damage in the event of an accident by an extruded profile frame. Yes, and the lowest point is not an element of the battery pack, but a body kit, the distance from which to the ground is 200 mm.

As for the suspension, the EQC has MacPherson struts up front and an independent four-arm setup at the rear. In the basic version, the shock absorbers are passive, but adaptive ones are also available for a surcharge, changing their stiffness depending on the selected mode.

Inside, the differences between the EQC and GLA are minimal: the same two 7-inch displays in the basic version (and 10.25-inch ones in more advanced trim levels), the same touchpad for controlling the multimedia system on the central tunnel, the same air deflectors in aviation style. However, you can make the car more isolated by ordering the Electric Art or AMG Line version, and the Night Package is also available. And the choice of materials and options that affect the perception of the interior, as is customary in Mercedes models, is quite wide. A significant difference can only be called the size of the luggage compartments: 340 liters for an electric car versus 425 liters for the GLA.

The list of basic equipment of the EQC includes 18-inch wheels, LED head optics with the function of automatic switching to dipped beam, lane keeping and forced braking systems in the event of obstacle recognition, power trunk lid, MBUX multimedia system with voice control, front seats with electric adjustable lumbar support, ambient lighting and rear view camera.
