2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA Owner's Manual

Due to the increased dimensions, it has become much more spacious in the shoulders and legs, although second-row passengers may complain about the limited space above their heads, but sorry – beauty requires sacrifice. And in order to comply with the status of a “four-door coupe”, the CLA lost its five-seat performance, now the rear sofa is exclusively for two.
The motor line currently consists of three engines: one diesel 1.5 OM608 (CLA180d – 116 hp 260 Nm) and two gasoline – 1.3 M282 (CLA180 – 136 hp 200 Nm; CLA200 – 163 l .s. 250 Nm) and 2.0 M260 (СLA220 – 190 hp 300 Nm; CLA250 – 224 hp 350 Nm). Weaker petrol versions of the CLA 180 / 200 are equipped with a 6-speed manual, while all the rest, including diesel, are equipped with a 7-speed DCT “robot”. The drive for all is front and only the 2-liter versions can boast of the 4Matic prefix with a rear wheel coupling.
By the way, unlike the A-Class, the rear suspension of the Mercedes-Benz CLA in any version will not have a semi-independent design – only a multi-link. At the same time, the chassis settings have been adjusted for better handling, and adaptive dampers are available for an extra charge.
