CLA-Class (Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class) – class “D” sedan with front or all-wheel drive. The premiere of the second generation of the model with the factory index C118 took place at the CES consumer electronics show in early 2019.

With the advent of the A-Class sedan, many might think that the days of the CLA were numbered. But Mercedes not only retained the model, but also made it even more elegant, solid and proportional, with an emphasis on some sportiness.

This trend can also be seen in the form itself. The car has become as much as 48 mm (4688 mm) longer, 53 mm (1830 mm) wider and 2 mm (1439 mm) lower than its predecessor. At the same time, the wheelbase also stretched – 2729 instead of 2699 mm before. Undoubtedly, such proportions, along with frameless windows, are designed to emphasize the more “couple” essence of the model. A completely redrawn front with a raised hood gives the look more expressiveness, and the stern … well, just the spitting image of CLS.
