The third generation was released in 2014, and with it the return of the V-Class badge and a much more premium appearance. On the outside, even though it is still a van, it looks more upscale, with a large grille similar to that of Mercedes cars. The more expensive models are equipped with safety glass, rims and sliding doors, which really give the car a luxurious look. That’s probably why it’s so popular among celebrities.
The 2020 V-Class may be unique in its segment, but it’s not the only one. Rivals, such as the Toyota Proace Verso and Hyundai i800, offer the same level of space in a similar package. However, few competitors have the level of luxury you’d expect from a German company car.
