2023 Mercedes Benz Vito Owner's Manual
Mercedes-Benz Vito – class “M” van. The world premiere of the third generation of the model took place in Berlin in July 2014.
The designers of the German company have revised almost every detail of the Vito’s exterior, and even for the first time for this class of car, they equipped it with bi-xenon headlights with LED side light lamps and a washer system, but this is far from the main thing. More importantly, the Vito is incredibly versatile. It is offered with several options for the length of the wheelbase, with different dimensions in length and height (up to 1910 mm), with front, rear or all-wheel drive and with a large number of power units (all turbocharged diesel, Euro-5 compliant).
The front-wheel drive Mercedes-Benz Vito was given a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine, which produces 88 or 114 hp depending on the boost. With. power (230 and 270 Nm of torque, respectively). Rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive modifications, in turn, were equipped with a 2.15-liter engine for 136, 163 and 190 “horses”. There are also several gearboxes – a 6-speed manual and a 7-band “automatic” 7G-Tronic Plus.
By the way, by reducing the drag coefficient to 0.32, the Mercedes-Benz Vito has moderated its appetites by about 20%. Its most economical modification consumes 5.7 liters of diesel fuel per 100 km of track in the combined cycle.
And if we return to the mass-dimensional characteristics of Vito, then it is worth saying that the length of the van can be equal to 4895, 5140 and 5370 mm. The maximum load capacity of the front-wheel drive version is 1289 kg, while the most “strong”, all-wheel drive modification can take on board 1396 kg of cargo.
And finally, about safety, Mercedes-Benz engineers equipped the Vito van with adaptive ESP, tire pressure monitoring system, blind spot monitoring, marking tracking system, eight airbags, crosswind stabilization system, driver fatigue control and so on.
