The interior of the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class also meets the highest demands. The quality of the finishes, the curved lines and the excellent visibility of the instruments are impressive. The standard three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel is as pleasant to the touch as it looks. The graphic design of the instrument cluster features white dials and a pinstripe design.

Despite the phrase “four-door coupe” often used in relation to this car, the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class is a sedan, but with a strongly inclined C-pillar, smoothly flowing into the rear overhang. That is why in profile the novelty resembles a massive and luxurious coupe. However, in the car there are all generic signs of sedans, since it has a closed three-volume four-door body with a trunk isolated from the passenger compartment. Mercedes-Benz positions this new model, its cost and equipment between the Mercedes E-Class and Mercedes S-Class sedans, and this is also indicated by the abbreviation CLS.
